Take in the architecture and history of the magnificent, well-preserved Jacobian mansion of the St. Nicholas Abbey. The mansion is set amongst beautifully landscaped grounds featuring tropical flora and fauna as well as natural gullies filled with Mahogany and Silk Cotton trees. Take the scenic route along the island’s rugged east coast stopping for picture-perfect photo opportunities at a few popular historical hotspots. Then it is on to the Flower Forest; a botanist’s haven located in St. Joseph, where you can wander through the stunning gardens that are filled with wild, exotic plants.
